Magical Maasai Mara
Teeming with wildlife, the Maasai Mara is home to Kenya's largest prides of lion and elephant herds. The large park reserve was named for the Maasai people, the traditional inhabitants of the Mara River and the surrounding area.
As the sun sets on a day full of spotting the likes of lion, elephant, giraffe, zebra and gazelle on game drives, the stars come out in what is a spectacular treat for our final meal of our small group tour to Kenya and Tanzania.
Surrounded by nature and with the beautiful Kenyan night sky above, dinner is served. A Maasai Maran mock attack and cultural dance is a precursor to our barbecue meal, accompanied by safari lanterns, a log fire, the stars above and the sounds of the African wild.
A fitting farewell to the Maasai Mara and Africa, this small connection gives you the opportunity to connect with the local culture and cuisine one last time, admire the stunning night setting and reflect on your tour experiences with the rest of the group. Experience this small connection and much more on our Kenya and Tanzania small group tour.
