Edinburgh

One of the most popular scenes the city is known for is its festival and arts scene, after all Edinburgh is home to the world’s largest fringe festival! Running for three weeks in August, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe celebrates arts and culture through thousands of performances by entertainers from all over the world. The city comes alive during the festival with an explosion of colour, vibrancy and fun!

Another world-renowned festival is The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Also running for 3 weeks in August, the Tattoo encapsulates Scottish traditions with the British Armed Forces, Commonwealth and international military bands putting on a series of performances. Located at the stunning esplanade of Edinburgh Castle, the Tattoo is an extraordinary experience for all who attend.
